ATG Barefoot Shoe (Mens and Womens)

The shoes are good daily wear shoes, and the wide toe box is fantastic. They're great for walking around and distance running too. They are not, nor were they designed to be, a very stable shoe. Don't try to make quick cuts or changes of direction, you'll just slide over the side of the tread. This also causes difficulty with squats on the slant board, the back leg in an ATG split squat, and a few other lifts.

One knock is the lacing system. The upper is a single piece with the laces going through a rubber guide that is attached to the upper. It doesn't get tight without feeling those rubber pieces. I pretty much stopped trying to get them tight and simply use them a slip-ons.

I was gifted a pair of these from Ben Patrick AKA Kneesovertoesguy and absolutely love them! I had a pair of the original and the 2.0 and these are probably my favorite. I do love the 2.0 but these new ones are so light, flexible, breathable, and so comfy! I highly recommend!

I have worn most brands of barefoot shoes. Vivo and Uncivilized Sneaker are the only ones I liked, look and feel wise.
The ATG Shoe has combined both worlds of comfort and not looking like a dork walking around. Feels like a sock. Functions like a trainer. I would encourage anyone to get them and try them out, especially at the price.

All honesty they did come off slightly when doing heavy sled but I treat them like slip ons... after I tied them tighter they stayed on.

From the moment I put this shoe on, it felt great. Easy to slide into but not too roomy. No stack height or drop, and just enough cushioning for a little give when walking and training on concrete.

I’ve tried Xero’s, Metcons — my brother even has LEMS — nothing comes close to the comfort and style of the ATG Shoe! Foot shaped shoes in style! 👞
